Matt is a European and UK Patent Attorney, whose typical work includes the drafting and prosecuting of patent applications in Europe and the UK.
Matt works with a range of UK and international clients, from individual inventors and start-ups to large manufacturing, research, and telecommunications companies.
Matt also performs specialist work in relation to validity and infringement matters, design rights, and oppositions before the European Patent Office.

Matt graduated from University College at the University of Durham with a First Class Honours Master’s degree in Physics and Astronomy.
Matt qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2017 and UK Patent Attorney in 2018.
Prior to joining the profession, he worked for three years at an international business and technology consulting firm.
