Julie is one of three IP Support Managers in the patent and trade mark practice groups. She works closely with the Practice Group Operations Manager and the other IP Support Managers. She also works closely with all other departments and managers within the firm.
As a practice group IP Support Manager, Julie has responsibility for ensuring that the fee earners and the firm’s clients receive a professional, efficient and high-quality secretarial service. She is also responsible for the performance management and development of the secretarial team, building and developing existing skills.
Julie joined GJE in November 2004 as a patent secretary and has worked within the IP profession for over 18 years. Julie worked her way up to partner’s secretary before being promoted to Secretarial Team Coordinator in 2015, Secretarial Team Leader in 2021, and IP Support Manager in 2023.
Julie is a member of CIPA, having passed the CIPA administrator’s course in 2013.
