Joe is a European and UK patent attorney with experience in the drafting and prosecution of European and UK patent applications in physics and software-related fields.
Joe has significant experience with drafting and prosecuting patent applications worldwide as well as extensive experience in other matters such as IP Audits, Freedom-To-Operate, and infringement issues.
Joe works with a broad range of clients including large multinational companies, SMEs, start-ups, as well as private inventors in the UK, Europe, and further afield.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys training for running races and spending weekends exploring different areas of the country.

Joe qualified as both a Chartered and European Patent Attorney in 2023. Joe joined the firm in 2024 as an Associate.
Prior to Gill Jennings & Every, Joe worked for several years as a trainee patent attorney at another UK-based IP firm.
Joe graduated from Heriot Watt University with a Masters Degree in Physics. His penultimate year project involved comparing the effectiveness of scMOS and SPAD cameras for imaging ultra-fast nanoscopic events and his final year project involved comparing the applicability of quantum computers and classical computers for simulating complex systems using IBM’s quantum computers.
