Daniel is a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Chemistry and Life Sciences group and is working towards becoming a fully qualified European and UK Patent Attorney. His work covers the technical areas of pharmaceuticals and industrial chemistry with a focus on catalytic chemical applications.
Outside of work, Daniel competes in athletics competitions as a middle-distance runner and has aspirations of progressing towards the marathon distance.
Dan came second overall in the 2023 London edition of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge and was first finisher on the second day. This is the world’s largest corporate running event, which saw Gill Jennings & Every LLP’s team secure the fastest average finish time out of the 710 participating companies in London. GJE also achieved the fifth fastest time globally.

Daniel graduated from Oxford University in 2018 with a First Class Master’s Degree in Chemistry. He won a first-place thesis prize for his Master’s project on developing sustainable polymer alternatives to rubber. In 2022, Daniel completed a PhD in Chemistry at Imperial College London, working on the recycling of fluorinated compounds. He subsequently joined GJE in September 2022.
