Louis is a Trainee Patent Attorney in the IT & Engineering department, working towards full qualification. He works in drafting and prosecution of European and UK patent applications for clients ranging from university spinouts to multinational corporations.
In his free time, Louis enjoys running and playing tennis. He is also involved in several music groups as a pianist and singer.

Louis graduated from Durham University in 2024 with a first-class Masters degree in physics. His final-year thesis explored the use of machine learning and remote sensing to distinguish plant species and characterise plant physiology.
