GJE is proud to have been recognised with the highest possible rankings by the Financial Times in its 2024 survey of Europe’s leading patent law firms. We are the only firm to have been ranked at No. 1 in the survey for six years in a row.
Once again, GJE has been awarded the highest “Gold” ranking in each of the six areas of industrial expertise surveyed:
- Biotechnology food & healthcare
- Chemistry & pharmacy
- Electrical engineering & physics
- IT & software
- Materials & nanotechnology
- Mechanical engineering
Of the 208 firms to have received a recommendation, GJE is one of only four to receive the top-level ranking across the board. A Gold ranking is awarded only to firms that were very frequently recommended by clients and peers.
Speaking on the rankings, GJE’s Chairman Alasdair MacQuarrie said:
“I am immensely proud that we have been ranked again so highly by the FT. Our top-level ranking in all sectors reinforces both the range and quality of expertise that GJE is known for in the IP world.
“I would like to take the opportunity to thank our clients across Europe both for trusting us with their intellectual property portfolios, and for recommending us.”
2024 marks the sixth year in which GJE has stood out and been recommended as a leading patent law firm by the FT.
The detailed survey undertaken by the FT and Statista invited feedback from over 10,000 patent attorneys and their clients across Europe. To see the full rankings and an explanation of the research process, please visit the Financial Times website.
